Thomas Cook has launched a postgraduate diploma in international tourism management. The course is conducted in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel (IITTM), Gwalior (by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India). The full two-year course includes an internship of two months and three months of training at work.
Manjula Chaudhary, director, IITTM said: "This is a unique experiment for the real time experience to the classroom. The program supports case-based learning and exposes students to international business environment. Students have a single exposure to real world during the program to enhance learning. The same result in meeting the exact needs of the industry therefore, the delivery of professional talent. "
The program will induce at 93 students and cost Rs 3.5 lakh. Graduates can start anything between Rs 12,000 to 15,000 rupees a month.
2. Media Fashion

Duration: Four years
Course Fee: Rs 90,000 per semester
Starting salary: Rs 25,000-Rs 30.000 hours

Pearl Academy of Fashion has launched its undergraduate program in the fashion media. Students study the elements and principles of fashion design, fashion value of the idea to the categories of retail products, retail fashion and trends provided to visualize and plan the implementation of ideas and concepts for promotion of fashion brands and lifestyle.
All who have cleared the XII board is entitled to request the course. The four-year course costs Rs 90,000 per semester. Institute: Jaipuri Institute of Management, Lucknow
Jaipuri Institute of Management, Lucknow has launched a postgraduate diploma in management with specialization in financial management. Graduates who have appeared for the combined entrance test (CAT) or the management of an aptitude test (MAT) will be eligible to apply. The full time program will induce two years 60 students.
"A good education in the management system would be a pragmatic and effective education combines theory and practice to ensure both the rigor and relevance," says S Chakraborty, director, Institute of Management Jaipuri. Starting salary package can be anything between Rs 4.32 lakh and Rs 6.75 lakh per year. )
